Native to the West Pacific from Australia to Japan. The floating bell Jellyfish has been introduced widely elsewhere. Average sizes are 45-50cm in bell diameter but there has been a maximum reported size of 62cm. This specimen was seen at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
