Description
Pied-Billed Grebe is out and about for an early morning swim in the lake at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona although these birds are rarely seen in flight. as it prefers to evade predators by diving, the migration of Grebes is done at night. However, it can fly, and stray individuals have reached as far away as Hawaii and Europe. Often confused with ducks but ducks have flatter bills and do not sit so low in the water. Fine Art America Watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
