Description
As an Arizona native, I have always wanted to visit Antelope Canyon. I had been hearing about the beautiful colors and rock formations and light reflections that are hidden well within the slot canyons. I am very fortunate that I have a significant other who is a photographer as well he had been to Antelope canyon a few years prior and I was in absolute awe of his work. We stopped by Antelope Canyon (located approx. 4 hrs outside of Phoenix) on our way to Zion, Utah. There was quite the wait to get in and the Arizona sun was beating down upon us. I wondered if all the hype was really true, "what is down there what is in the canyon" I wondered. After we were only in the canyon a few minutes I knew I got it. This is what everyone talks about this is what the native people adore, treasure, and believe is sacred. The stillness, the calm, you can hear time and legends you can see mother nature display her best pinks, purples, reds, oranges, and yellows as the sun mixes with the rocks to form an amazing display. If you need to find peace in this crazy life take a trip to Page, Arizona, and spend some time in upper or Lower Antelope Canyon. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
