Bosque del Apache is such a beautiful place known for the wildlife that gathers there in the winter. The flocks of Snow geese and the deer that are in the meadows are the stuff that photographers talk about when they discuss the best places they have been, the Sandhill Cranes here are unlike anywhere else they fly overhead, and beg for their picture to be taken. What took me by surprise was the true colors found in the foliage the leaves were brilliant oranges that looked ready to start a fire at any moment. I don't get seasons in the valley where I live in Arizona, so the brilliance of the trees and leaves astounded me. This tree seems to be almost calling out "protect me, I am small but I will grow one day to be mighty if you protect me. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
Ruth's home for the past 35 years has been Arizona. She loves all that the state has to offer from its changing climates to the array of birds, many of which are found at the world-renowned Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert.
