Description
As the sun begins to set on the New Mexico plans a Pronghorn makes her appearance. Her body is built for speed and agility Pronghorns are the second fastest land animals only to Cheetahs. However, Pronghorns can sustain fast speeds longer than Cheetahs can. Pronghorns can sustain 55 mph for up to 0.5 miles.
Often thought to be part of the Antelope family due to appearance the Pronghorn's closest living relatives are actually the Giraffe and Okapi with distant relatives being the Deer, cattle,sheep and Antelope. Pronghorns can be found in the wild in the western interior and Central America. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
