Drake Lesser Scaup as he enjoys a swim on a nice winter day in Arizona. Scaups are a North American diving duck that migrates as far as Central America in the winter. Males in their breeding plumage have a black, iridescent head and a small tuft at the head crown, a black breast, a whitish-grey back, and wings.
