Just for a moment, this beautiful Monarch butterfly finds himself resting. The migration of the Monarch is quite the feat. Unable to survive the cold weather winters in most of the United States the Monarch butterfly migrates every fall to warmer weather found in parts of Southern California and Mexico Oftentimes times this is a 2,500-mile migration that they have never been on before. They rely on instinct to find their way to warmer weather. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
