Description
My genus reflects the name that I am most commonly known as, Gorilla. This name literally translated from ancient Greek means " tribe of hairy women". I am the largest living primate. I have DNA highly similar to humans and am largely herbivorous. My intelligence is very high I can learn sign language, how to learn tools, and develop deep family bonds. However, my strength, my beauty, and my above-average intelligence do not keep me from being critically endangered. To this day I am hunted and my home is being destroyed. I am known as Gorilla, and it is unknown if my species will survive in the wild until the next century. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
