Description
The Salt river is about 200 miles (320 km) long. Its drainage basin is about 13,700 square miles (35,000 km2) large. The Salt River is formed by the confluence of the White River and Black River in the White Mountains of eastern Gila County. As a tributary of the Gila River and the largest one. The longest of the Salt River's many tributaries is the 195-mile (314 km) Verde River. This river is prevalent in Mesa, Arizona due to the Granite Reef diversion dam located there. A source of an oasis in the desert for many forms of wildlife including wild horses, Bald eagles, and Herons. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
